The use of visualization has been discussed for decades. It was proven that visualization can affected the process of subconscious mind’s manifestation. This will result in attract favorable circumstance to achieving the goals. The article consists of easy five steps to make use of visualization effectively.
The subconscious mind can be significantly helpful to us if we know how to make use of it. Interestingly, it can not remember the input in words like you communicate with your conscious brain. Instead, the subconscious mind only remembers the picture and makes the picture materialize by attracting all the circumstances and attributes needed .No matter whether the picture is good or bad, it will make that come true. This is known as “law of attraction”. We need to know how to carefully use this law otherwise it might sabotage us instead of help us. The right technique of visualization is therefore essential for sending the right message to your subconscious mind and make use of it.
Step 1 Visualize only what you want
People have a tendency to think of what they don’t want. Even worse, a lot of people unintentionally visualize what they don’t want and that will definitely happens. This wrong visualization is called “worry”. Have you ever been worried? I bet you have. Another example of negative visualization is when you walk on a thin stick of wood. You can easily walk if the stick is on the ground. However, if it is on the stick which is between two chairs, it will be more difficult. It will be extremely difficult if the stick is between two buildings. You will imagine yourself fall down and get injured. The acrobats have a different approach to this event. This is their life and therefore they will never visualize themselves fall down. This example may have clarified you how important it is to visualize only what you what.
Step 2 Adjust your visual
One of our ability is that we can adjust the picture we visualize to whatever way we want. Like we adjust the television, we can adjust the picture to be in colors or black and white, clear or blur, big or small, far or near, we are in it or we are not in it…etc. The more colorful, vivid, graphic, involved the picture is, the more powerful is your visualization.
Step 3 Add other ingredients
Not everybody is good at visualization, although most of the population have the visual as their major sensory organs. Some people may tend to be better by remembering in hearing, touching, smelling and tasting. If you are one of them, you can add these ingredients into your visualization. When you visualize you are having a good speech, you can imagine hearing a big ovation of the audiences standing and clapping their hands. You can imagine the feeling of hugging the audiences who come forward and cheer you on. You can imagine smelling the crowds. Or when you visualize you are having a good food, you can imagine the taste of it. We do this all the time when we are hungry, by the way.
Step 4 Use helpers
There are many instruments in the market that can help you achieve faster in visualization. There are scientific proofs that people will get better results if they have heard some music that stimulate the subconscious mind. There are some audio CDs in the market that can accelerate the visualization process. You may want to go and check in the internet. They are many of them and it is your choice.
Some of the experts recommend using the anchor device. This is simply anything that can lead you to help enhance the visualization. For example, you can use the picture of your kids when you want to visualize bringing them travelling around the world. Or you can use the picture of your slim and healthy body when you want to visualize losing weight.
Step5 Visualize regularly
Make it a habit that you need to visualize regularly. Discipline is important to all personal development processes. The best time to visualize is before you go to bed. This is the time that you can stimulate the subconscious mind and makes it work while you are sleeping. The other time is when you just wake up. Make it twice a day and you will be amazed on the result you get.
