Note that 'Y' is only used if a name has no other vowels present in a word; otherwise it is ignored.

To be compatible in numerology, two values need to both be either odd, or even numbers. When one value is even, and the other is an odd number, then disharmony can result. The ideal combination is when two values are identical, such that they reinforce each other.

Los Angeles = OAEE = 6 + 1 + 5 + 5 = 17 = 1 + 7 = (8)
California = AIOIA = 1 + 9 + 6 + 9 + 1 = 26 = 2 + 6 = (8)
So the actress, city, and state all have identical Soul Urge numbers of (8). This means that both the woman, and the place have highly competitive spirits and desires. A fitting motivation for the home of Hollywood.
